In the frame of the “Regional Innovation Laboratory for Industrial Automation and Mechatronics – RILIAM” Interreg – IPA CBC Hungary – Serbia project, a Workshop was organized at Subotica Tech – College of Applied Sciences in Subotica on Dec. 12, 2019. This was the second workshop held in Subotica.
The „RILIAM” project aims to support the SMEs from the region who deal with industrial automation and industrial robotics. In the project, two innovation competence laboratories are created, one for the food industrial robotics and automation at the Faculty of Engineering in Szeged, and one for the assembly automation and robotics at Subotica Tech in Subotica. The laboratories serve as help points for the SMEs for innovation solutions.
In the frame of the project, an online tutorial data base is developed (www.riliam.com), which serves as the information collector, and connection between the project partners, beneficiaries and interested citizens.
The workshop attracted more than 40 representatives of companies, teachers and students, who had the opportunity to be informed about the latest development in the following areas:
- Use of CAD in the process of designing electrical circuits,
- Machine vision in mechatronics,
- Development of intelligent brushless DC motors.
The speakers were invited representatives of companies.
